We wanted an authentically British Catholic Classical education built upon the finest educational books ever written, not because they are fashionable, but because generations of teachers proved their educational value.
Britain and the US have produced some of the greatest educational books in history. Rather than allowing these treasures to be forgotten, Britannia Classical Institute seeks to recover them and make them accessible once again to modern homeschooling families.
Using today's technology, we have brought these timeless resources together into one carefully structured online programme. Lessons are already planned. Reading materials are organised. Assignments, quizzes, and progress tracking are provided automatically to support both parents and students.
This allows you to spend less time planning and more time doing what matters most, learning alongside your children through beautiful books, rich ideas, and an authentically Catholic education.

N.B. Although our programme is distinctly British in character, we have included a small number of exceptional non-British works where they are recognised classics of education and best support the aims of the curriculum.

Written work, narration, discussion, copywork, and notebooking remain at the heart of a classical education, with parents always free to decide how much written work their child completes. We believe parents should not be afraid of technology but use it wisely. A Growing Educational Vision
Our homeschool programme for children aged 5–14 is available now and continues to grow as new lessons and subjects are added.
This is the first stage of a much larger vision that will hopefully and eventually include:

RQF Level 3 Classical Liberal Arts Diploma
Together, these programmes will provide a complete British Catholic Classical Liberal Arts education from the early years through to advanced study.
Our Mission
We believe that an authentic British Catholic Classical education should not be complicated or prohibitively expensive. By combining the finest public-domain educational books with modern technology, we can provide a rich, structured education without requiring families to purchase costly curriculum packages year after year. As Britannia Classical Institute grows, our hope is to continue expanding the curriculum while keeping it as affordable and accessible as possible, allowing more families to benefit from an authentic British Catholic Classical education.
